Romans 12:1-2

For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in everyplace incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the Lord of hosts. Malachi 1:11.

You are called to serve God in a pure way. God wants pure, dedicated service to be rendered unto His name. This way, you will be honoring His Great Name.

How do you do it?

1. Serve with Commitment.* Commitment to pure service is an appeal to those who are saved. To those who have enjoyed the grace and benevolence of God in salvation and now desire to live for Christ their Savior in total surrender and complete love. We are pleading to you, coordinator, women leader, chapter leader, every worker, be committed to service. Let not the blood of Jesus drop in vain.

2. Serve in Appreciation.* You were doomed for eternal damnation but mercy found you. Should you not reciprocate the kindness of God in selfless service?

3. Serve as A Living Sacrifice. Present your body as a living sacrifice. Ordinarily, an object of sacrifice is offered just once. But if it is a living sacrifice, it is a continuous one. Offer yourself on the altar of God continually every day of your life in purity and holiness.

4. Serve God in Holiness. A holy God can only be served in a holy way. This is the minimum standard required for acceptable service.

5. Serve God in A Manner Acceptable to Him. As a leader, do the work in a way that God will know you are leading. Whether you are a choir member, you are an usher or in whatever capacity God is using you in His assembly, do it in an acceptable manner.

6. Serve Not by The Standard of This World. The bar is raised and you cannot
afford to operate below God’s standard. Let not your service be for material or
financial benefits as in the worldly pattern.

7. Serve God in Godly Terms. Change your perspective. Please God rather than man. It is a gracious privilege to work for Christ. Let your service to God cost you something as David said, β€œNeither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing
