LITCHFIELD — The Knowledge Home Retreat and Convention Heart will host a retreat for caregivers from Friday, November 1, to Sunday, November three, at 229 East Litchfield Rd.
This system is entitled, Caring for Ourselves Whereas We Look after Others: Self-Care Practices and Meditation Retreat to Help Caregivers.
This system contains dinner on Friday and lunch on Sunday.
Celia Landman O.I., M.A. will current the program.
Ms. Landman is an skilled mediator and facilitator. She holds a grasp of mindfulness research diploma from Lesley College with a deal with Buddhism, contemplative neuroscience and mindfulness in schooling.
She was ordained by the Venerable Tich Nhat Hanh as a lay member of the Tiep Hein Buddhist lineage, the Order of Interbeing.
She is a printed writer on mindfulness and leads meditation teams for teenagers and adults.
Members will be taught restorative practices to replenish nicely being and enhance the capability to take care of themselves and others.
This system is designed to help well being professionals and relations and relies on Buddhist teachings.
Subjects included are meditation, therapeutic silence, aware consuming and methods to create pleasure.
