One of those pesky things that Membership Sites absolutely depend on is content. Content can take on many forms from articles through to videos. (I haven’t figured out a W – Z yet) I wanted to give you a simple action plan when it comes to creating quality content for your membership sites.
Step 1 – Write your articles. Write them based on the subject or niche keywords for your membership site. You will need to write anywhere from 5 to hundreds of articles over time. Five articles will do to start.
Step 2 – Post your articles on your site or blog.
Step 3 – 30 articles in 30 days is a good target. With 30 articles in 30 days, bu the end of the month you have enough to create a good e-Book. Transition between the articles by setting headings in your eBook, insert a table of contents, and a resource page, then save as a PDF document. This is an extremely easy thing to do when using an eBook template created with Open Office. Open Office writer even includes a tool to export to PDF.
Step 4 – Use the created eBook as a give away on your site, or as a monthly download.
Step 5 – Create an e-Course based on the articles. You will notice at the Internet Niche Lab, we also have a work book that helps walk a person step by step through our courses giving ideas and exercises to use the material we include in our courses.
Step 6 – Make videos to show how you are using that which you are talking about in your articles. Post the videos on YouTube with a link back to the membership site where readers can acquire your eBook or sign up as a member at the site.
Step 7 – Create an auto-responder series based on your membership site and the subject of your eBook providing links back to the site. As you add content to the site be sure to send out messages regarding the new content and e-books available.
OK that’s a few things you can do with the same articles I am sure with a little bit of practice and some healthy imagination you can think of more.
