1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you
that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are
2 With all lowliness and meekness, with
longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the
bond of peace.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are
called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, Who is above all, and
through all, and in you all.
Almost every Christian in the world today belongs to a
denominational Church or a peculiar Christian
organization with given a name. This book shows us that
whatever Christian denominational or group you belong
to, you should have in mind that there are seven things
that show that all believers in Christ in the world are one.
The body of Christ, the Church, is one. The Spirit of
Christ, feeding the body, is one. All Christ’s believers
seek to avoid hell fire and to be with God in heaven.
Believers recognize One Lord, Jesus Christ. The Holy
Scriptures, the word of God, the Bible, guiding the
Church, is one, with only one true interpretation.
